With it being the 3rd day of summer it may seem strange that I am posting a hot chocolate recipe, however I woke up this morning to a dreary cold and wet morning and all I felt like doing was curling up on the lounge with my giant pregnant belly and a big mug of hot chocolate. I created this simple dairy free hot chocolate so you can also enjoy a comforting hot chocolate when all you feel like doing is curling up on the couch in your dressing gown.
This recipe serves 2
What you need:
150mls of coconut milk
400mls of water (preferably filtered)
1 heaped tablespoon of cacao powder
1 heaped tablespoon of coconut sugar or rapadura sugar
1 teaspoon of natural vanilla extract
What you need to do:
Pour all ingredients into a saucepan.
Bring to boil on a low-medium heat, stirring every minute or so.
Serve and enjoy x
