How and When to Use Essential Oils

There are three ways to use essential oils for their benefits.

  1. Topically using either a compress, a spray, in a bath or massage, (note we recommend to dilute oils when using topically).
  2. Inhalation using either a diffuser, steam inhalation, dry evaporation, or a spray.
  3. Internal via oral ingestion  (always check that the oil is suitable for internal use and use according to the directions on the label).

Please always check on the bottle’s label for any specific directions as different oils have different properties and not all are suitable for each method of use. We recommend diluting oils when using topically with a carrier oil.

Here is a quick rundown of some of the properties and benefits for which different oils are used.
