This is by far my favourite essential oils infused slice! It is so easy to make and will be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone you share it with.
This recipe was inspired by Wholefood Simply and is my go to recipe when I have guests over.
What you need:
-2 cup desiccated coconut
-10 medjool dates, seeds removed
-1/2 cup raw macadamia nuts (You must use a high powered blender or food processor to get this slice smooth, alternatively you can use macadamia or cashew butter)
-2 tablespoon cacao or cocoa
-10 drops doTERRA Wild Orange Essential Oil.
OPTIONAL: you can also experiment by adding a drop or two of Cassia, Cardamom or Cinnamon Bark essential oil.
-1/2 teaspoon concentrated natural vanilla extract/vanilla bean paste
Pinch of natural sea salt
What you need to do:
- Place the ingredients into your blender or food processor and blend until smooth and well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into a loaf tin lined with baking paper over hanging the sides.
- Place in the fridge for several hours or overnight to set. Cut, eat and enjoy.
